Grants and awards...

Sheetal Shah

'Wrigley Litter Less Campaign!'

We have been accepted to receive a grant in the 'Wrigley Litter Less Campaign!' as part of Eco-Schools Scotland!

Our proposal has been specifically selected, as it has met the criteria in encouraging behaviour change in your community and using the pupil’s voice and action to dictate change.

We will be in touch with our fantastic families in the New Year with further information as we will require your help and support while we make use of the grant funds to further our development of our garden.

Tiptoes have engaged with the "Woodland Trust" group, with the aim to further expand our Children's experiences with their natural world. We have successfully been granted the "Woodland Trust's Tree Pack" which will arrive with us in March 2017, we will be awarded around 60 saplings at this time and we will invite all our families to come in and help with their planting. We have gained the Silver award and are now working towards their prestigious Gold award.

About the Green Tree Schools Award

The Woodland Trust works with schools across the UK, encouraging outdoor learning and helping teachers inspire their pupils about woods, trees and wildlife. There are currently 7,000 schools registered on our award scheme. It’s free, fun and has fantastic activities that can support your pupils’ learning and development.
