Some more details you should be aware of about everything from late pick-ups to what to do when your child is ill and cannot attend the nursery. Not sure about something?

ADMISSION AND DEPOSIT

A registration form must be completed along with a £100 deposit to secure your place within the nursery. The place will not be secured until we receive this.  This deposit will be refundable when the child leaves the nursery provided the appropriate notice has been given.


PAYMENT OF FEES

Fees are paid monthly, in advance, into the bank account details provided to you. Card payments and cheque payments will also be accepted and can be made from the office. Nursery fees must reach our bank account between the 1st and 5th of the month unless agreed with the nursery management. Any parent or carer whose fees remain unpaid after the 5th of the month, without prior agreement with the nursery manager, risks their child’s place at the nursery being withdrawn.  Childcare voucher payments are accepted and any information you require will be available from the office. If extra childcare sessions are required these must be discussed with the nursery manager and are payable on the day of the session. Normal session rates will apply. All booked sessions must be paid for regardless of child’s attendance. No refunds are given for sessions missed due to sickness or holidays or unavoidable nursery closure.


OPENING TIMES

The nursery operating hours are 07:30-18:00, Monday to Friday. The nursery is open all year except between Christmas and New Year and Easter Monday. 


TERMINATION, CANCELLATION AND CHANGE OF SESSIONS.

One month notice is required by either party for any change of sessions or termination of agreement. If parents choose to leave prior to the end of their notice, fees are non refundable. The minimum period for any change of sessions is one month. The nursery reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect in case of non payment of fees, or if a parent, carer or child, displays abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour. Intimidation or abuse of our staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination.


PERSONAL PROPERTY AND BELONGINGS

The nursery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage parents, carers or child’s property or belongings. Every reasonable effort will be made by the nursery staff to ensure that property and belongings are not damaged. Please ensure your child’s clothing is clearly labelled. 


LATE PICK UPS

We fully understand that on occasion buses or trains can run late or there may be congestion on the roads. If you do think you may be late picking your child up from nursery, please contact the nursery as soon as possible or arrange for someone else to pick your child up. If the nursery is not informed you may charged a late fee of £10 per 15 minutes to cover the cost of emergency cover or staffing.


ABSENCE FROM NURSERY

If your child is absent from nursery due to illness or holiday, please ensure you inform the nursery with as much notice as possible. If the nursery is not informed, we have a duty of care to contact parents or carers to ensure the child is safe and well.

Located in Larbert, Stenhousemuir. We are less than a mile away from the Larbert train station and within a stones’ throw away from the Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Tiptoes Winchburgh

Located in the centre of the new development in Winchburgh, we are the first purpose built childrens’ nursery in the area, less than five miles away from Linlithgow Train Station.
